i'm sam. i'm a tailor and have been making clothes for the past 20-some odd years. i'm here to share my love for work shirt; may they be made from denim, chambray, flannel, herringbone or any other fabrics.
where do your fabric and material come from?
the fabric i use come from one of the leading fabric supplier on the globe, cone denim (which, as far as i know, is the sole manufacturer of selvedge denim this part of the world) and i also use hard-to-find vintage dead-stock buttons.
how does this work?
whenever the time and inspiration presents itself - might be once a week, might be once a month - i'll post a picture of a shirt that i made for myself and if you like the fit and design, just post a comment saying you're interested. include your e-mail address and we can coordinate from there.
what's so great about your shirts?
all the shirts that you choose to purchase through me are all hand made. you provide your personal or desired shirt measurements* and i'll stitch the entire shirt by hand machine, down to the button holes. yes, it might take longer, but in the end you'll get a shirt which will fit exactly to your liking.
sounds good. so...what's the downside?
more often than not, i can only produce three shirts per design. this is because i only have a small amount of material and simply don't have the manpower or the time to produce shirts at a larger scale. i'm doing this all by myself and besides, i think that the low quantities give these shirts a more personal feel.
how long does it take for the shirt to get made?
usually 5-7 days, then i'll ship it to wherever we talked about.
do you only make work shirts?
now, yes. but who knows, if there's high demand for something else like denim, flannel or letterman jackets, i just might make it.
i also accept custom orders, so if you've got a design in mind, drop me an e-mail including a pic of what you'd like. and don't worry, unless specified, if i don't have the best material for what you want (i.e. grade A leather for a leather jacket), i'm not going to make it.
thank you to those who have read this! i hope you enjoy my designs and look forward to your orders!
